As Studio Director, Wade is involved in all aspects of the design studio and regularly casts an eye over each of the projects within the office. Striving for the highest quality, Wade is continually pushing the possibilities of functionality, form, and materiality to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and the communities the buildings sit within.

With a high level of respect for the natural environment and the historical context of a site, Wade believes that each project should take lessons from its past and draw inspiration from a site’s history, context, and character, to help inform the design direction.

Wade fosters a collaborative studio environment by promoting robust discussions around design and is also focused on mentoring the studio team to promote quality of design for ELK and its clients.
