Willows Home Traders have had a long-standing, much loved retail store on Newcastle’s bustling Darby Street, so opening another retail space in a large shopping centre was quite a new dynamic to consider for Willows. The brief was for minimal intervention to the space, allowing the goods to shine; with rich colour, texture and form coming from the artworks, beautiful homewares and gifts. Painted archway backdrops, black contrasting elements, and pops of pinks, ochres and brass lay the foundation for the space.
