Belmont
An amazing mixed-use development located on the water’s edge at Belmont, comprising of 30 apartments, a communal roof top terrace and 3 ground floor commercial tenancies. The ground plane blurs the edges of public and private and creates new gathering spaces for the community, to engage with the natural environment.

The form is an organic response to the amazing site context, reflecting the undulating lakes edge along Belmont Bay and a commentary of the constant movement of the lake. This is further highlighted by the curved battens details, sweeping balconies and the vertical gardens running up the building.

The 30 apartments are connected by the glazed central foyer. This feature not only gives prominent eastern and western views from every level of the building, but also creates a visual connection between the urban and the natural landscapes of Belmont. This gives a permeability to our building, which doesn’t try and privatise the surrounding area but creates access to the vistas for residents and public alike.
