The client’s request for a spacious family home with a timeless design allowed us creative freedom in this challenging project situated in a flame zone. The use of non-combustible materials became imperative. We sought to capture a timeless aesthetic that harmonises with the bush setting. The chosen material palette reflects a thoughtful blend of non-combustible elements, ensuring safety while retaining an elegant and enduring design.

The surrounding blush land encouraged the design to speak to the outdoors, with its open-plan living and large private alfresco areas. The materiality of the building complimented the bushland in tonality while being flame resistant to ensure safety.
