After working in a number of local architecture firms and having a growing passion to start his own studio, Luke launched ELK in 2006 as a sole practitioner. After quickly building a solid reputation in the local industry, Luke started expanding the company and with constant growth, and outgrowing 2 office spaces, ELK Architecture has cemented itself as a national company known for its quality of Architecture and customer focused design. Luke is passionate about building solid client relationships and values a strong sense of design and rational use of purpose for every ELK project.

Luke has delivered a variety of typologies including Residential, Hospitality, Commercial, and Industrial and has a detailed knowledge of all aspects of the business which contributes to achieving high quality standards for each individual project.

Outside of the office Luke is a keen surfer and will be found in the water when a swell is running or on a flat day, he can be found at the racecourse as owner of several successful race horses.
